Repotting can stress succulents, especially during hot weather. When a full repot is not ideal, cache potting can be a simpler way to stabilize the plant and improve presentation without disturbing the roots too much.
The key is to avoid trapping excess water. Make sure the inner pot drains well, check that the outer container does not hold standing water, and keep airflow around the plant.
When the season is safer and the plant is active, you can do a more complete repot with a suitable medium and pot size.
一般來說換盆會將舊的根系修的比較短些 (約3~5cm) 讓它重新發根，若是植株在穩根、健康的狀態下，夏季換盆海倫不會把根修的太短，只會把較乾燥、缺水的根系修剪掉。
上圖箭頭處還有新根長出，修剪時要小心不要剪到新根或壓壞了。
